What it is

A privateer evening.

Pirate Night is a privateer evening on the Delaware Capes, using a real record from this coast. Blackbeard and Stede Bonnet worked these waters in 1717. Cape May issued Letters of Marque. On 29 June 1776 the brigantine Nancy was run ashore at Turtle Gut Inlet. In 1782 the Battle of Delaware Bay matched Hyder Ally against General Monk. The night is a chart-table briefing, a quiet hunt after dark, then rum and a late table. No costumes. This is an add-on to a stay.

On this boat

How it runs.

This is concept staging, not a booking. Six guests. Evening only. A hired, licensed 6-pack captain stays aboard. Crew sleeps in a closed cabin. Ports are West Ocean City or Cape May.

Dusk briefing at the chart. No costumes. Then the hunt after dark. Then rum and a late table on the aft deck. There are no bookable dates yet. Leave a note if this is the evening you would add.

What it is not

Not Disney. Not arrr.

This is not Disney. It is not arrr. There are no costumes, no eye patches, and no treasure map for children. It is a briefing, a quiet hunt, and a late table. The history is the night. The props are not.
