What it is

Allhallowtide on the water.

All Hallows is Allhallowtide on the water: All Saints, All Souls, a late-October night with one sourced story. The Faithful Steward wrecked in 1785; 181 people died, and the beach still turns up coins. De Braak sank in 1798; legend promised a hoard, and none was found when she was raised in 1986. The SS Atlantus, lost in 1926, is still visible at Sunset Beach and is not haunted. One sourced story, no fog machine. The tone is All Souls, not a Halloween party.

On this boat

How it runs.

This is concept staging, not a booking. Six guests. Late October. A hired, licensed 6-pack captain stays aboard. Crew sleeps in a closed cabin. Ports are West Ocean City or Cape May.

One sourced story. No fog machine. One table, low light. After dinner, the story on deck. There are no bookable dates yet. Leave a note if this is the evening you would add.

What it is not

Not a Halloween party.

This is not a Halloween party. No fog machine, no costumes, no jump scares. The SS Atlantus is visible at Sunset Beach and is not haunted. The night keeps an All Souls tone. The story is sourced. The weather, if it makes fog, does the rest.

Roots

Wrecks with records.

Allhallowtide is All Saints and All Souls, the old days of the dead. Faithful Steward, 1785: 181 dead, Coin Beach. De Braak, 1798: raised in 1986, no hoard. SS Atlantus, 1926: still at Sunset Beach.
